Centrepoint

Centrepoint is the leading national charity for homeless young people. I began working with Centrepoint in 2003 and implemented a complete rebrand in 2008 which continues to help build recognition for the charity today.

40TH ANNIVERSARY

The ‘More than just shelter’ book was designed as part of the 40th anniversary campaign. As the title suggests it aims to powerfully differentiate Centrepoint from its competitors. A series of compelling messages was created to describe how the organisation helps homeless young people.

KEY TO CHANGE

KEY TO CHANGE

Former BBC presenter Debbie Rix, Centrepoint’s Director of Special Projects, developed the concept for a fundraising album called ‘Key to Change.’ A collection of cover versions of songs from 1969, the year Centrepoint was founded. The idea highlighted Centrepoint as key to changing the lives of so many homeless young people over that 40 year period.

KEY ILLUSTRATION

There is obvious poignancy using a house key for a homeless charity but it was also designed to hint at the ‘key-shaped’ Centrepoint logo. Jackie Parsons was commissioned to create a striking key shape collage of 60’s found imagery and ephemera to reflect the era.
